So in preparation of the youtube channel, i thought i'd get some more 'professional' make up items to add to my collection.. lol
I bought the following
1. BH cosmestics 60 colour day and night eye shadow palette
2. LA girl pro concealer in fawn (re-purchase)
3. City color bronzer in coffee
4. Elf make up mist and set (re-purchase)
5. Real techniques brush set
BH cosmestics 60 colour day and night eye shadow palette
I have used this palette once (for my maybelline challenge). I really like the palette. It's very pigmented and has minimal fall outs. It is very economical and a dupe for some high end shadows. For example, the deep brown reminds me of saddle by MAC.
Bottom line: I recommend this palette!

LA Girl Pro concealer in fawn
I use this for my under eye highlight. I am in love with this concealer. It is a buildable coverage concealer. I would usually set it with the ben nye topaz powder.
Bottom line: An affordable concealer that does the job!

City Color : Be Matte Bronzer
So i have been on a hunt for a bonzer that will show up on my skin (I am an NW55 in MAC). I have been using the sleek contour palette but i was hoping that i could get something darker. This bronzer has a good colour payoff however it doesn't show up on my skin too much :(
Bottom line: I won't be repurchasing this for myself, but i would do for client's with lighter skin tones.

Elf Makeup Mist and Set
Works well for me. Makes my make up dewy (which i like). It also helps to control shine.
Bottom line: A must have in any make up kit.

Real Techniques Brush Set - Core Collection Kit
This is the first branded brush set i am getting. I love them! Tres tres soft...
Bottom line: High quality and affordable.

I hope this review was helpful (especially for beginners and or make up lovers on a tight budget).
Until the post, God is love and love is God.

Making your own wig
Hey guys, so i know a lot of times going to the salon can be so time consuming plus not to mention expensive. I am going to take you through a step by step approach to making your own unit.
Things you will need:
1. Weaving Cap
2. Hair sewing neddle
3. Weaving thread (this is usually thicker than the normal thread)
4. Head mannequin
5. Your weave! (Obviously).
6. A good tv show to while away the time. I chose Prison break
Step 1: Get your head mannequin. My mannequin is called Zara. lol. She's a beauty. I love her.
Step 2: Put the weaving cap on the mannequin head and start to sew the tracks down as so
Step 3: Once you've sewed the weave until the crown, stop for a bit and sew the closure. This will ensure the closure has enough room to lay down properly.
Step 4: Continue sewing the tracks until you're done.
Step 5: Cut, curl and style!
So i was feeling particularly adventurous this day and so i decided to do some highlights. So what you will need is hair bleach, a brush and 20 volume developer. Mix the bleach and developer in a bowl and apply to the hair as desired.
Let it sit for a bit and then wash it out.
At the end of the day, this is how the hair came out....
I still don't like it so i am going to be cutting it into a pixie cut, although the dye job came out perfect!More on that later.
I hope you found this post helpful and if you did please share, comment and follow. You can also add me on twitter and instagram @aisharaji
